Pizza meet and greet.

This Tuesday, 5:30 PM July 19 at the clubhouse

Langford Mayor Stewert Young has agreed to come and meet us to talk about some of his history here in the park as well as his views on the future of this park.

• Bring $5 per person for pizza and drinks.

• If you can’t bring $5, bring what you can. If you can bring a bit more, please do so. Any extra or shortfall will be taken up by our hidden Valley fund. Just come! This will be a good time.

• We are setting up the meet outside depending on weather, so bring a comfortable lawn chair if you have. (Uncomfortable clubhouse chairs will be provided.)

Basically this meet and greet with the mayor is an excuse for us to get together as residents at the Hidden Valley Seniors Mobile Home Park. Some of us are new. It’s a nice opportunity to get to know one or two other people living in the park. Also, Mayor Young will likely surprise many of us with his experience living in the park.

Initially the idea for this get-together was to take the place of our fall barbecue get together but several residents have suggested they would still really like to get together for a barbecue in September.

As a committee we would love to see this happen. What we would need are three or four people who would volunteer to organize the barbecue. If this is you, please talk to us on Tuesday.

Craig, our “Grill Master” has volunteered to bring the barbecue and grill the meat.
